Are there ghosts in Fort Adams?? We will once again offer public ghost hunts through the fort’s Officers Quarters, Overnight Barracks, and Powder Magazines. Guests are encouraged to bring their own camera’s and voice recorders to capture their own evidence.

Ghost Hunts are operated in partnership with The Rhode Island Paranormal Research Group

For those looking for a more physiological scare, Fortress Ghost Hunts explored the Fort’s living quarters and bastions looking for evidence of the paranormal. Local research group The Rhode Island Paranormal Research Group will lead small groups on a hunt using specialized instruments while Dark New Eng-land Productions documents the tours on infrared cameras.

We apologize, but due to the outdoor nature of the Fort, this event is not handicap accessible.

Private Ghost Hunts are Not Available. If you’re a Paranormal Researcher and would like to investigate at Fort Adams, we encourage you to attend on of our public Ghost Hunts during the Summer or Fortress of Nightmares event in October.

This event is not for those under 12. Minors under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21. The Fort Adams Trust reserves its right to refuse ticket sales or entry to the attraction to anyone, for any reason.

Parents: You MUST accompany your children through the attraction at all times.
